I've studied some quantum physics before. Admittedly, I'm not a physicist, but those terms are real and are used in a way that makes sense with their meanings. For instance, Yang-Mills theory does describe how interactions between elementary particles are governed, so it would make sense that Yukari would need to implement a solution to it into the barrier to allow non-fundamental particles to pass between two different worlds with different laws of physics.

Canonically? You don't. It's hinted every now and then she keeps around humans she finds entertaining, but like most youkai that only lasts until she gets bored of you. Best you could hope for is becoming her sex slave/pet for a few weeks until you also end up strangled to death and served as sashimi.

The answer is that Akyuu lies and makes Yukari sound scarier than it really is, and Grimsokyo is a myth. Cutesokyo is the real canon reality. Yukari is just an old hag, if you ever indulged her fantasy of being 17 she'd be putty in your hands.

Not 100% certain, but I think Yukari gapping in humans for food was canon because of the Devil's Contract. The Devil's Contract was replaced by the Spell Card Rules, which says Youkai cannot kill humans anymore.

No, not at all. The devil contract was a precursor to the spell card rules, but it never actually went away. Remilia and Flandre are still being fed people. While even works as recent as Symposium make it pretty unambiguous what happens to most outsiders. Yukari herself almost certainly still regularly eats anybody unlucky enough to fall into her claws.

>> No.38303424

Yukari is a monster. But, think of it from her perspective: Is her life not above most humans? When your average Japanese person cuts apart a Salmon to make Sashimi, do you think they feel sorry for their food? No. A girl like that should think herself lucky she would have the honor of serving as a Youkai's meal.

You lost the entire punchline with that. Yukari goes "Prepare the kitchen, we're gonna have a feast tonight!", Ran says "Okaaaay!", and the girl, quickly realizing what's going on, shits herself and tries to leave asap. That's why she gets snapped on the spot because she was too smart for her own good. Though honestly, it was either that, or getting chopped up by Ran later.

Part of that is true
It’s not supported that Yukari kills people with her bare hands to eat
What is supported is her gapping in random humans for random youkai to eat, probably more dangerous ones like the vampires
But if humans survive and make it to the village, they achieve celebrity status
Now Yukari said she eats humans in a pre-fight dialogue, but any of the dialogue before the match should be taken with a grain of salt as it’s trash talk to get on the opponent’s nerves

> Is her life not above most humans?
Not really no. She's just a delusions created by Humanity. She and her entire race are a by produced of humanity that continuou live on borrowed time and whose best years are behind them.

They aren't above Humanity on any sort of way. Thier mind is old, thier existence is fragile, thier knowledge is stagnated. The Youkai, just like the Neanderthal in the past and the Lunarians in the future, are a race that lost the War for dominance of the Planet to Humanity and now have to do everything in their power to maintain and protect the only places where they can continue live.

It's mentioned in PMISS that she most likely attacks humans in the outside world. We know she abducts people to Gensokyo. There is no reason to assume she wouldn't eat some of them herself.

Best argument you can make is "Well, she might have been Maribel". But if she was Maribel, I would say she crossed the line into full Darth Vader villainy about a dozen or so times already.

People overexaggerate humans getting eaten in Gensokyo. Hong Meiling in her prefight dialogue with Reimu says she'll try and eat her and ponders her taste, but everything else we know about Hong Meiling is that she's extremely nice and friendly to humans on her job.
