You want girl in container moe but ZUN already made a touhou for that so yeah.

>> No.3819484

... It's obvious to anyone who thinks that Marisa found patchy sleeping, and instead of doing what you no doubt wish to watch Marisa do to Patchy, she put Patchy into a life-sized mug.

Why? You may ask. But then consider the reasoning behind EVERY SINGLE TOUHOU GAME and you will realize that it's perfectly normal behavior in gensokyo.

All he said was that he considered it. Do you know what "considered" means? It means that he thought about it. He posted again, so obviously he concluded that his abysmal word skills weren't too shitty for /jp/. Maybe you should train your word skills up a bit more before posting again? You and that tripfag seem to lack the necessary mental facilities to properly comprehend English.

So you're going to write people off as not being at risk for suicide if they say they considered suicide? I mean, they used the past tense and everything!

Wow. So you are saying that this "Lord_Pizza", who claims to have considered not trying to use words anymore, and proceeded to use them in 2 separate posts after considering it, is similar to possibly diseased/deranged/depressed individuals who may have diagnosable issues?
Also, note that in one case involves thinking about doing something, while the other involves thinking about not doing something.

I honestly feel like /jp/ would be vastly improved if most of the posters kept themselves to image dumps.

Deleted and replaced my post to fix a minor grammatical error. Can't have one of those while I'm insisting on better English.
Anyways, I'm telling you that your analogy doesn't work. Allow me to reiterate. One case involves thinking about doing something, while the other involves thinking about not doing something. If you consider doing something, but haven't done it, there is the possibility that you decided to do it, but haven't gotten around to it. On the other hand, if you consider not doing something and do do it, it is clear that you decided it wasn't something you needed to not do.

You've only stated it once (deleted post aside), so this would technically only be iteration. Reiteration is technically repeating AGAIN, not for the first time. But I'm picking nits.

Bullshit.

Point one. I consider eating ice cream. I decide against it. Later, I eat ice cream anyway.

Point two. I consider not accepting the bag of chips someone offers. I end up accepting it. Later, I decide not to eat it and give it back.

If someone had encouraged me to eat that bag of chips, I might have done so! Clearly, giving someone additional encouragement is of use.

Additionally, as can be seen, the ability to change one's mind is unhindered by whether the decision made happens to be better phrased with a negative in the English language.

>> No.3819795

Gimmick? I've been banned (or effectively exiled, depending on the case) from many forums and IRC channels because of this habit.

In fact, I have been known to amaze even the most argumentative elitist bastards, becoming famous across massive collections of boards. On many websites, people have posted things such as "Here comes <internet alias>. The argumentativeness of this board is about to hit a sudden plateau."

Many of the larger arguments on /jp/ in the last year have been caused mostly by my influence, as well. I am doing the community a service by adopting a name and trip, allowing those who would prefer to avoid such things to do so.

If anyone is interested, you can go fish through the archive and ask me if any arguments were my doing. But now I'm just coming off as an attention whore. Forgive me.

>You've only stated it once
Oh, derp.

Why do you all of a sudden change your analogies to food? I think the situations we already have are good enough.
Point 1:
I consider posting. I decide against it. Later, I post anyway.
I consider suiciding. I decide against it. Later, I suicide anyway.
Point 2:
I consider not posting. I end up posting. Later, I decide not to post.
I consider not suiciding. I end up suiciding. Later, I decide not to die and come back to life.
In point one, the end result is variable. You could just not do it, and end up doing it later. Or you could just continue not doing it.
In point two, your decision is final. Your post remains on the internet, you're dead, your friend wonders what was wrong with the bag of chips. A decision to do something is final, but a decision not to isn't.

>> No.3820137

>>3819844
A decision not to do something is also final. You will always have lived for that extra time or passed up those chances to post. You're just looking at it from the wrong perspective.
