ENT*? That's odd. I don't remember seeing any of those in the previous threads.

ENT* types are quite nice in their own way. While they do not excel to the same extent as INT* types in the arena of thought, they are still usually quite intelligent and (obviously) excel at interaction with others. If you pair an INTP and ENTP or an INTJ and ENTJ, the "I" can handle the heavy mental lifting and the "E" can easily process the results and take the appropriate course of action in the real world.

I must say, if I was the founder of some organization, I would want to have an ENTP as the public head and serve primarily as an adviser to him--or her, though female Intellectuals are rather uncommon.

>>3817660
*NTP and *NTJ are different. Any given J will only truly excel at specific situations. It is in their nature--they are dedicated to mastery. P is interested in a conceptual understanding of many fields. As a result, it takes *NTP to be a polymath or "Renaissance Man," but it takes *NTJ to be a true prodigy.

"Jack of all trades, master of none, though ofttimes better than master of one" sums it up quite well.

Problem? One who would mindlessly conform has a problem. See Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan for details.

And yes, INTP is characterized by a refusal to allow outside interference. Many INTP kill their own emotions because they get in the way of proper thought.

Isn't it common sense that similar personality types would group together? In either case, 3.3% isn't actually as small as you would think. If all types were distributed equally... there would be 6% of each type... "half as much" isn't really "very little/special"

oh wow.... thats creepy...

Your personality type is INTP
INTP: "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. They are good at logic and math and make good philosophers and theoretical scientists, but not writers or salespeople. 1% of the total population.
INTPs lack follow-through and this can isolate their ideas from practical examination. Their notions become over-intellectualized and too abstract to be of practical benefit. With their sharp critical thinking and analytical abilities, INTPs tend to nit-pick, hair-split, and generally overdo simple issues. Their desire for accuracy and precision exacerbates any error they may perceive in themselves or in others — they are, in other words, highly self-critical. Wanting to be competent and know everything, their standards grow increasingly higher. When fear of failing becomes overly pronounced, INTPs are quick to feel unintelligent, slow, and powerless.
If stress continues, the INTP's mind seems to freeze and block out the vital information it has worked so hard to accumulate. Their creative juices stop flowing and they suffer from stage fright, writers block, and a general inhibition of their ingenious thinking and fluent language skills. Preoccupied with performance failure, INTPs become self-consciously distracted in anticipation of their failure. If the stress becomes too overwhelming, the fear of blanking out prevents them from taking risks in areas they desire to succeed in. Attempting to avoid incompetence, they fail to gain the expertise and mastery they so desperately need.
