Could i pronounce her name - ˈbiː.ətrɪs. Is it correct. Or only [be.aˈtriːtʃe] variant is correct?

>> No.3812018

It's Japan... so no.

>> No.3812037

ʃ
dat s

>> No.3812038

Gaap refers to her as Riiche so probably the latter.

Beatrice the witch isn't Japanese.

>> No.3812046

Isn't ce pronounced "che" in Italian, which -would- be the language used in her name?

>> No.3812079

It's the latter, just check it on the wikipeia or in the anime

>> No.3812087

I only want to know are both variant allowed? Or
biː.ətrɪs variant not correct at all

>> No.3812097

>>3812046

Exactly.

I'm pretty sure no one cares what you call her. I sincerely doubt that she would come to your house and kill you for mispronouncing her name. And even more certainly, you would die happily if that happened.

beatoriche in anime. wiki said that biː.ətrɪs
is eng pronouce of this italian name. I wonder if i'll use biː.ətrɪs will it be a rude mistake?

>I sincerely doubt that she would come to your house and kill you for mispronouncing her name.

This is Beato we're talking about right? She would kill you for much stupider reasons.

lol your are right however i only need it for arguing with faggots. They say i'm totally wrong and only italian pronounce quite right.

>> No.3812142

you pronounce it the way it's meant to be, which in her case, is the Italian version.

>> No.3812147

>>3812107
I consider her lazy enough that she wouldn't bother going out of her way. Now, if you mispronounce her name in front of her...

>> No.3812184

Italian?

It'd sound like bé-ah-tri-tché (with a rolled r).

>> No.3812210

>>3812184
oh thce, t is pronounced right?

>> No.3812239

>>3812210
Italians would attack the "ché" quite violently, yes. the "t" would be very clear.
They'd also elongate the "i" a bit. Using English vowel sounds it'd be an elongated "ee" sound.
