So /jp/. NEET here, been isolated for the past 16 months... until today. I ventured out of my apartment and further than the local convenience store a block away for the first time. I took the bus to Walmart across town and bought some clothes and AC3/Demon's Souls for the PS3.

Almost 2 years ago, the company I worked for went bankrupt and I was used as a scapegoat by my asshole of a boss. Blamed all the problems on me when talking with customers and our low-level employees. Ruined my reputation, and now I have some pretty major paranoia issues.

I almost didn't go, but I took a few shots of cheap rum before I left. It wasn't too bad, except I kept seeing people I thought who recognized me. For example, I'm pretty damn sure I saw my cousin's wife get on the bus with a baby stroller... she looked right at me and my heart skipped a beat when she did. I thought she had recognized me, but then she turned away as if I didn't exist. Thank goodness, it would have been hell if she came up and asked where I had been.

I also saw a few people who I knew through the old business I worked for, but they either didn't recognize me or care.

I really need to get out of this town, it wouldn't be so bad if I knew there was less of a chance of running into someone I know.

What would you do if you were in my situation?

I'd stop posting on /jp/ and take high level engineering courses.

Get a fucking car, it's no surprise you were a scapegoat you're a fucking loser who can't even get himself to work without public transportation or carpooling.

How do you plan on leaving the city if you can't even drive yourself out. ಠ_ಠ

Get out of your town. Where are you living anyway?

Yeah, I posted about a couple of weeks ago, or hell, maybe even last week, I can't remember. I was contemplating going back then... but today I finally did it.

I can drive, I just haven't turned on my car in over 16 months, not insured either. Tried starting it, but it won't start, and it's too cold outside to bother fixing it right now.

If you don't at least run your car - even when it's parked - the battery will die. You just need to either have someone to give it a jump or buy a new car battery - and be sure to fucking run for like 10 minutes in the driveway at least once a week from then on.

I'd get a new job.

Personally, I've been a NEET for a year and I'm going to re-enroll in college soon. What gave me the courage to do that? My asshole of a brother says he's going to college and I refuse to been outdone by that faggot. It even surprises me that this is the push I needed to get on with my life.

Reported for /adv/ material on /jp/. The advice board is still pretty new but I believe they can help you.
Also, please don't /b/log here. If you do it, what's to stop others from doing it? It's no wonder why your boss didn't like you. Do you always ignore the rules/regulations of the establishment and do whatever you fancy?
