I remember downloading many years ago this album ボカロ爆音ジャズ2 from Active NEETs on dojin.co but haven't been able to find it anywhere, it's not even for sale on internet and I'm at my wits end, does anyone has this album? It seems to me as if Active NEETs is trying to erase any record of this album ever existing

The lyrics were about olive leaves changing color and falling. Then there was a ~bridge where the lyrics were almost 1 syllable at a time. I don't think it was a remix or anything but I don't know which girl it was related to.

Not sure if any of you guys still remember, but over a year ago I made a couple of videos that were essentially giant crossfades of Touhou arranges, except grouped by each specific stage/boss theme, and tried to include as many different music genres as possible. Most of the feedback I built upon for each successive video was actually from you guys.

Well, after an unexpected one year absence (let's just say real life really gets in the way), I've finally finished the video for Desire Drive from Ten Desires. This one's a big one, for some reason there are a lot of Desire Drive arranges, and I really don't like the idea of making a video get too huge, so I've even omitted plenty too.

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with that, but my only question is, why only Satorin? He's only reuploaded the one video.

As for copyright claims, so far I've noticed that only IOSYS is quite trigger-happy with making claims; to date, I haven't gotten claims from anyone else. My first two videos (Yuyuko and Marisa) are currently both copyright claimed by IOSYS, and only IOSYS. That's also why from the Satori video onwards, I only give IOSYS songs 12 seconds or so, while every other circle's tracks have 30 to 40 seconds of playtime - it seems that if you keep the duration under 15 seconds, the automated system doesn't nab you.

With that in mind, I don't think IOSYS is doing anything malicious, they're merely (and completely within their rights) laying claims to their own property, and they're not doing copyright takedowns or anything. I feel that the most that IOSYS would do is play ads on my Yuyuko and Marisa videos to get a tiny bit of ad revenue, if they truly wanted; as long as I'm not being too outrageous, I don't see how IOSYS would benefit from takedowns against a mere fan like me appreciating their work. Or am I too optimistic here?

Definitely check them out, theres four of them, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Azure&Sands used to be pretty notable back when i first started listening (in 2009/10), and AFAIK they usually just do guest spots now on other circles albums. If you have time, check out his 八雲紫の多世界解釈 album, while the previously linked arrange is one of my most favorite arranges, the Yukari album is one of my most favorite touhou albums period. the vocal tracks on it are fantastic, especially the track with ichigo.

There isn't really a good website for that, as you mentioned the wiki is outdated for a lot of circles and even discography websites tend to be out of date. If the circles you like have their own websites you should be able to find their discographies with recent releases. If they have youtube channels where they announce new albums you should sub to them too.

aside from checking their homepages (if they have one, or even they even keep it updated), there really isn't a reliable way of checking for a groups full discography. the best places to check/cross reference would be thwiki.cc, Touhou Wiki, VGMDB, and Discogs, (if you're looking for Touhou works specifically, you could also use TLMC as a reference for information). the problem is, nearly all these sites provide info via volunteers, so its a matter of whether or not someone cared enough to list the albums with their information.

Hello, I have been directed to /jp/ for knowledge on how to compose ZUN-like music and I do. I really want to make a Seihou filled with Western Yokai. ZUN-like in what manner? Composition-wise, or are you looking to replicate his specific sound, as in the VSTs/Samples/Synthesizers he uses?
ZUN uses a lot of vi-vii-i progressions, it's his bread and butter, especially for PC98 tracks. He also usually sticks to sus4th chords or just the root and fifth, not often throwing in the 3rds. I would look at some midi's of his songs you like and just look at those things, how he uses chords, how he uses melodies, how he harmonizes, etc.
