the two streams on the side always continue outside of the screen, so I do'nt have room to get out. Am I going down too fast?

what I'm doing (or trying to do):
start center, move slightly to the right as the lines start curving, and then move to the bottom with the bullets, wait for the bullets to invert and get through gap but at this point the two "lines" are still there so I get caught stuck there.

well I just need to practice more, been too busy with SA to work on this, haven't really touched it since I unlocked it a few months ago.
