I see a lot of tea in anime and in the VNs that I've watched or read. It's part of the japanese culture.

I started drinking tea instead of coffee about two months ago and I gotta say the act of making a hot cup of tea and slowly drinking it is really relaxing. Plus the simplicity of it accompanied with a sweet snack, like a slice of cake is super nice.

Are there any tea lovers in /jp/?
What tea do you like the most?
How do you make/brew it?
Any secret tea tip?
How much tea do you drink daily?

I find tea enjoyable too. I don't really have a preference between western or oriental teas. For the former I like ones with citrus and for the latter I find the taste of genmaicha to be perfection.
I invested in an actual teapot so I could finally stop spitting out leaves with every sip.

I became more and more intolerant to milk over the years and I had to look for something as replacement. I didn't like tea at all at first because of course, I only buy cheap bags from the market and call it a day. And I am not even that into it to go look for something that tastes good. The middle ground was finding out about honey and how it makes shit tea bearable and almost yummy. I have a cup of tea with biscuits every day with two small sugar spoons and one small honey spoon. I wait a bit for it to cool down by dumping my biscuits into it till I get thirsty and the tea is not as hot as before. Drinking hot tea like this every day at around 4-5pm has been my winter routine for years and I am content with it. Maybe one day I will try looking for something actually good but for now this is how I spend my cold days

I am a natural born tea drinker, from the most tea drinking country. We mostly have red tea here, special for the north eastern region.

I drink lots of tea, the tea thread on /ck/ is a pretty good source, even if you just read the faq. I brew in a gaiwan, I've been drinking a lot of shou puerh since it's the winter, but I drink all sorts of tea. It's worth trying it all, I think most people will be able to find something they like in every type of tea. I drink a lot of tea, I'd like to drink more but shipping has been pretty bad recently. I have more tea in the mail then at my house.

I've been drinking 8+ cups of tea daily for 5 years now and I can't be stopped.
Usually it's just green tea but sometimes I drink berry, lavender flavors or chai if I am feeling daring.
I wish I could drink things slowly...

I enjoy tea, and I do feel refined when I drink it. I imagine that i'm sipping alongside Remilia, or Reimu, or Yuuka (it depends on the day). But normally I drink lots of expresso with milk. Just the cheap Cafe Bustelo

I chug tea all day to stay hydrated. Either oolong or gunpowder mixed with some cheap ass regular green tea. I make a big pot of gigastrong team for the whole day and dilute it with hot water as I need a fresh cup.
Also recently discovered matcha. This shit hits like a truck. I think I finally found a cure for my sleeping schedule ruining naps.

I usually drink oi ocha from the convenience store or oolong tea. Better than coffee if you don't drink it too often.

Matcha is great although I could never notice a significant difference between premium and ceremonial grades. It's definitely there, just very subtle.
