Katahane is about fantasy adventure in a kingdom town; one part fluffy adventure, one part kingdom backstabbing politic. All layered with yuri romantic tone.

Ruitomo is a story about cursed boy and girls who are branded with marks. If they ignore the curse they die (head explodes etc), so they band and help each other. Known as hardest to translate (on par with CC and Saihate no Ima) with great character chemistry and group events. With the trap protagonist the romance is almost yuri.

Baldr Sky Dive1 doesn't have much yuri tones. Unless if you enjoy troperific cyberpunk/mecha with hardcore gameplay. Still worth playing though.

they are non-related. with completely different characters in them.
as you would expect, all are consensual/gentle/boring. maybe there was some softcore forced sex in one of the yuri scenes but I can't remember.
the girls do get a lot more slutty in the sex scenes than they are in story, so I guess it could be one of the example of sex scenes handled badly. but the CGs are really beautiful.

The number one complain is repetitiveness.
Because of how long the game is supposedly there is 10+ endings or so. That mean you have to keep replaying some scenes again and over again.

Also a lot of commenter seem to be impressed by the arts however the story is not so top tier that they can't really give it a high score.

Sometimes we rate things objectively and sometimes re rate things subjectively. I tend to rate series that I'm a fanboy of, a bit higher than usual, this is fine because I derive enjoyment from that piece of work, while not everyone may derive the same enjoyment.

tl;dr: scores are meaningless, just watch/play/read whatever you want and make up your mind. I don't agree with LoSs' scoring of some games, but I have no problem at all with that, it's just a matter of personal opinion and taste, it doesn't actually mean anything more than how much YOU enjoy a particular work.

Ruitomo is a good eroge that has some real shortcomings that are mostly due to the fact that the writer was still mostly new (in this genre anyways).
He actually tried to make up for some of those flaws in Comyu (and failed but that's another story).
I would say it's a 8/10 eroge, that is still pretty good.
Muv-Luv would be a 7.5/10, so yeah not much better.

Comyu was good, but I couldn't like it as much as Ruitomo - it felt like most of the good stuff in Comyu were things that were recycled from Ruitomo.

It's definitely not the landmine initial reviews were making it out to be, though.

Well the Akabei/Akatsuki fan waited for a masterpiece, it was pretty average in the end, too much wasted potential, I felt that it could have gone so much deeper in the whole setting and the characters themselves but it ended up feeling kinda shallow.
And of course you have the fact that Comyu shared a few themes with Muramasa that was released around the same time, except that Muramasa explored these themes so fucking much better.
