So I've now got a decent job so I can start collecting.

This has to be first one - Black Rock Shooter (pic). Nearly everywhere is fully booked. Only place you can order it is eBay stores. I don't mind paying a bit more for it, but are these eBay stores reliable for such figures and pre-orders?

Or does anyone know a reliable site still taking pre-orders?

Careful of ebay. It should set off all kinds of alarms in your head if the seller is based out of China. Bootlegs abound.
