Hey, I have a paper due Tuesday on Ise's Naiku Shrine, 8 pages, 8 sources. I would have a grand total of ten, but my fucktard professor shot down four of them, I need two more. Being that you guys are the Japanese board, I figured I'd ask for suggestions; I'm going to have to break some balls to make up for this asshat's tomfoolery.

Sources I have so far:
"Ise: Japan's Ise Shrines; Ancient Yet New" by Hvass
"Studies in Shinto and Shrines" by Ponsonby-Fane
"Shinto and the State, 1868-1988" by Hardacre
"Heibonsha Survey of Japanese Art 3: Shinto Art: Ise and Izumo Shrines"
"A Year in the Life of a Shinto Shrine" by Neilson
"Rites of Renewal at Ise" by Bock (Monumenta Nipponica article)

Basically, all I need are books with bibliographies that mention Ise in a somewhat big way; Japanese Architecture and Shinto books are cool.

I don't know what you guys like here, but I can offer tits in return.

>I don't know what you guys like here

Hint: it's not tits.

/jp/ will have no such shenanigans.

Can they be in Nihongo

I never thought I'd find a board on 4chan where I couldn't buy information from offering tits. Holy fucking shit guys.

Anyway, um, what?

We like dicks. Especially on little boys and little girls. Of the 2D variety. Preferably with at least B-rank ZR. Testes are optional.

Why did you teacher shot down four sources?

This.

Of course, as everything Japan related, it's in SICP.

>> No.3764073

>>3764049

Because they're not "scholarly": Apparently if it lacks footnotes, a bibliography, or the author isn't "well-known," it's shit. If the information is good, it doesn't matter if it doesn't have sources. A load of horseshit, considering my sources had consistent information across the board.

I pulled this from the wikipedia reference list for Ise.

Oh, well. The professor would likely still say no, as he would doubt my Japanese abilities and I would have really no way to prove I can read Japanese because I can't. It's an Asian Art class, and he specializes in South America. I don't quite know why he even offered the class, but it was for a Minor I am no longer considering earning.

I have the first of those, and the last I interlibrary loaned, but the goddamn library won't let me use it because it got shitted on in the mail from Detroit.

Need only two? That's easy.
One of them is the English wikipedia page on the subject. The other one is the Japanese version.

Wikipedia is widely accepted as the definite source for any serious research, your professor will be impressed that you're keeping up with the times.
