http://www.japanator.com/hideo-kojima-meets-type-moon-loves-them-12300.phtml

"The meeting only lasted for a short while, but the meeting was pure enjoyment and I have not had something like that in a while.

It was the first time we met but I felt like we had already known each other for a long time, I felt a kind of affinity that was like deja vu.

It’s a special privilege that only creators have. Even when age or race are completely different, we can still understand each other instantly when we have the same “smell”.

Even though we’re from completely different areas, it does raise my spirits to get to know people who are working really hard and suffering in agony but continue to still create new work."

It would be awesome if Kojima would do a remake of Snatcher and/or do something similar again. I vastly preferred his works (policenauts and Snatcher) over Nasu's.

Same here, but from what he said and current projects he's working on, we should probably expect ZoE3 anytime between 2011 and 2020 depending on how many MGS movies Konami want him to make.

This guy is fanboying over Type-Moon and he has an article called "Why Naruto should be over"? Seriously? I could replace all of his Naruto stuff with TM stuff and it would still make perfect sense. Actually let's try it:

>>1. We cannot handle any more Type-Moon characters
>>3. Nasu has totally run out of ideas for superpowers
>>5. If the characters get any more powerful, the world will be destroyed

Amazing, it works! It's getting tiring seen these fanboys play games of pretend. I have no problems with people liking TM stuff or Naruto/Bleach, but don't pretend that one series is better than the other.

You are confusing the fanbase and the actual company.
Yeah the fanbase sucks, heck the western TM fanbase is even more retarded, annoying and obsessed that the one in Japan, quite a feat.
But Type-Moon itself is fine, yes neither Tsukihime nor FSN are even close to being called the best eroge ever, but they certainly aren't Naruto or Bleach, they are both good, heck you could call Tsukihime revolutionary for its time.

>>No, it doesn't, since you have superficial knowledge of both of the settings and just blow a tirade.

No, I know as much about the Nasuverse as Jonesy or all the other broskies from Beast's Lair. Little about it has changed over the years anyways.

Around sometime in 2004-2005 Nasu stopped caring about writing a good story and simply gave in to fanwank. The power levels started to have power levels, and the abilities started to have mini-abilities that were countered by other abilities. He also eventually started to milk things which he considered to be old and inferior (like KnK).

When all of this happened Type-Moon became exactly the same as your average Shonen Jump fanwank series. Once again, it's not "bad" to like either, but it would be wrong to pretend that one is better than the other.

Everything that defines the Nasuverse was done by 2005. No major changes. What the FANBASE may have perceived as, different thing. Changing your opinion in these last 3-4 years makes no sense.
Re-releases of dojin worls like KnK is not milking. It's not like he changed the books to make them suddenly more appealing.

And the actual streis, focus and writing have nothing to do with anything published in Jump in recent years.
Whether it's shit or not.

You dislike it for all the wrong reasons.
But nobody takes your opinion seriously anyway.

Kojima liking Type Moon makes more sense than Kojima liking Twilight.

He met Kinoko Nasu and Takeshi Takeuchi at a dinner meeting.

While on the other hand, he said he "liked" Twilight at a contest for Twilight fanart staged by Pixiv.

Pixiv is not just some backwater website run by a bunch of random guys. Its a company with stockholders and the whole nine yards.

And why wouldn't he do it because he loves Twilight?
Why would Kojima be a judge for this contest if he didn't enjoy this series?
Lots of people could have been in his place, why him?
You are just trying to search for an excuse, he said himself that he loved Twilight, I see no reason to think this isn't true.

No problem. I'd recommend playing Policenauts first, as I think it's a really tiny bit better than Snatcher. Snatcher involves entirely different themes though, so they can't be compared that easily (apart that both of them are great).
