I would say the main critique I have is the amount of redundant or needlessly long sentences. Really think about what you want each sentence to convey, and write that out as succinctly as possible. While it's hard to articulate some things, such as the MC seeing his reflection in the window, you have to trust that your readers can comprehend what you mean if you write well enough.
