Has Touhou ever moved you to tears?

If so, what game, music, doujin or image was it? Or was it something else?
Was it a certain character in particular?

I remember tearing up during and when I finally beat Nitori's stage (this was in my early days of playing Touhou)

She was just manipulating your water to make it hard to see in an attempt to make you fuck up.

I like Touhou, but it doesn't carry that kind of resonance for me, games, doujins or otherwise. Touhou isn't for crying.

The only tears that touhou could possibly cause me to shed would be those of frustration.

I suck at vertical shooters ;_;

I'd say it was 70% sucking and 30% the music for me

Probably a couple doujins, but I cry all the time and don't really keep track of what made me cry. Sometimes I don't think there's a reason. Oh god I'm tearing up right now

No tears, but the Double Scarlet video is rather touching.

I haven't genuinely cried for a really really long time. The last time I can actually remember was reading one bit of Ever17, and even then I just got a little verklempt.

something like, "hurr what do we do with this corpse, ok let's seal this evil tree with it"

Subterranean Animism made me cry.
Because it was shit.

Yuyuko died to seal it. Yukari made the border later.
