I finally took the time to install the whole 20GB torrent of mods today using the install script someone posted on deadfrog. It's gonna take me ages to see all the new stuff I didn't already have.

Now if only techarts could fix the posing system so it wouldn't take hours to get half-decent results.

So, how hard and time-consuming is it to do posing?

I went through the catalogs for those 30 gb torrents a while ago and installed all the mods that interested me, but I got sick of it quickly because it's not that fun to just watch a girl (or trap, depending on my mood) stand there with various accessories, and I never found much beyond the normal sex scenes, which got boring quickly too. But I still want to get more out of it.

Here is currently what to do to get an install with most of the mods:

1. Get this torrent, install the patches in order (SP before XP) - don't bother replacing the EXE when instructed, just copy the tah files.

2. Get XPR4 uncensored, install it:

3. Get the huge mods torrents (will take you a few days, we are not many seeding) or use the mediafire links provided in >>3710665

4. Use the script posted in the comments to uncompress the mods.
Make sure to remove tim0506.zip and TAC1689 before running the script.

5. You can install the mods manually, or just copy everything.

Note that if you install everything, many mods will not kick in because mods work by claiming "slots" in a first-come first-serve basis, and you'll get a few possibly undesirable effects: changed splashscreen, changed music, "realistic" penis, disturbing shit that you don't want to see on a waifu, 1 mod out of about 200 will crash the game when clicking on it, the game will take a few minutes to launch, etc... hunting down which mod does what is almost impossible, so many people prefer to install mods manually - but installing everything is also a reasonable option in my experience.

I hope that's easy enough to figure out - the 3DCG modding scene can be so hermetic, especially with how the nips used to be all "SOWWY SECLET MOD SITE NO FOREIGNER ALLOWINGwwww"

Why the hell the Japanese modding scene has so many social issues? Not just 3DCG, I mean it in general, you see the same pattern every time they like a moddable game enough get a community started.
Between authors who flat-out say "I made this thing which I will never release enjoy your screenshots lol", the passworded uploader sites hosted on some guy's laptop in his kitchen for three months before he pulls the plug, the "japanese only plz" riddles, and the overall taking pride in making their stuff as hard to get as possible.

I almost mentioned that example, yes. Seems to be at its worst in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking communities, both very big. But as far as I understand it, the Japanese had a big share of the blame in the shittiness of that scene, with the worst "If you repost my files even once I will commit internet seppuku" attitude, hosting said files on geocities-quality free hosts that went down all the time.
(For what it's worth, the English-speaking RPG Maker scene had the same issues a decade ago, and like mugen, at the beginning it had a very similar mix of Japanese people and Hispanophones speaking broken English, but they both completely ignored each other this time).
