in culture lecture two weeks ago we had a 9th dan Go master showing us the game, it's history etc.
I've been playing since then several times and it's really an interesting game, I can see why man people play it. (contrary to most other board games)

Go is a computationally difficult game. Unlike chess, you can't just throw lots of processing power at it to beat a master. You need a mcfuckinghuge table of games to even attempt such a thing. Most people can overcome most Go programs after about a month of casual play.
