Lets this be a thread for the future poll, for asking questions about the candidates and stuff.
And keep the trolling at minimum.

For the Liar-softfags out there, are you going to vote for Forest or Shikkoku no Sharnoth ?

I'll probably vote for Saihate no Ima, even though Ixrec most likely can't translate it

I think Ixrecs has mentioned that he would prefer something easy to translate next and would like to have some more experience before he would tackle something hard.

General opinion from all the talk I have heard of kara no shoujo is that its like it or hate it thing, so its probably good.

>>3701928
Not liar-soft faq, but I probably would vote for forest as I have played sharnoth and that was like worse version of inganock.

As I am person who likes diversity when it comes to choices I'm going to vote for France shoujo, Extravaganza and baldr sky in prelims and baldr in finals. Altough I wouldnt mind kara no shoujo, mugen kairou or alternative winning because I dont think anything like them has been translated yet.

>> No.3702085

I think I'll be able to enjoy all of them except the most drama centered ones.

I've been wondering how people would vote if past votes were visible during the voting. Would people go for the titles they like and have votes already, or would they vote on the games they like that has low votes?

The fear of wasting a vote should probably make people focus on the ones they like that already have votes, and we would probably get a higher voting count for the most popular ones.

Uh, I don't think he's said that since he loves difficult translations. Also, after CROSS†CHANNEL most VNs wouldn't really be a problem for him, even though there still are some of them supposed to be tougher to translate (like RuiTomo or Saihate no Ima).

The bad results of Swan Song in the final poll last time were probably because it had got few votes in the preliminaries, so some voters thought it would be pointless voting for it.

What are you guys going to vote in the prelims? I'm not sure myself and I'd like to know some opinions.

He did say it.
>Also, after CROSS†CHANNEL most VNs wouldn't really be a problem for him
Cross Channel's translation was riddled with translation errors.

Muvluv Alternative for sure, I still haven't decided what else I'll vote in the preliminaries. Probably Eden* and Swan Song.

I didn't say he can make a flawless translation, just that I don't think he'd be scared by the language difficulty.

I'm Liar-Soft fag, but I won't be voting for either. Although the rage from another Liar-Soft project would be hilarious, I'm more interested in other stuff.

Ixrecs post in their forums:
http://amaterasu.is.moelicious.be/forums/index.php?topic=72.msg1823#msg1823

copypasta from Ixrecs post:
though as mentioned above this project was surprisingly taxing so I would prefer an easy one next time. Perhaps once college really kicks in and I've had some time to polish the fundamentals of translation on something easier I'll feel like tackling another hard one.

As a side note, if Saihate really is as hard as I'm told, I probably won't be capable of translating it without at least another few projects' worth of experience.
