the studios can easily pinpoint who leaked the material, since some of them have unfinished parts (things like placeholder signs and uncut scenes where director instructions can be heard). I guess this stuff can be easily tracked down on the production chain and get to the exact people who did it.

Worst case scenario would be if this affects the performers. I can see this backfiring in the worst way, like active actresses retiring or forcing the law to eliminate either the stream sites or the actual censored movie from retail.
