Anyone heard any Japanese dubs of English shows?

I've heard Spongebob, the Powerpuff Girls, and Teen Titans.
PPG and Teen Titans were both decent. But Spongebob....man, it was lousy. And supposedly Spongebob is popular in Japan? Wow.

Hm....

Lion King 3 and a bit of 1. It was pretty good. Simba was kinda meh, but Timon and Pumba were great. I think I actually like them a bit better in Japanese.

Various Disney cartoons, both the old and the new.

The old ones were pretty good, but sounded nothing like the English ones.
The newer ones sound much closer to the English voice, but Goofy and Donald are different enough to where it kinda bugs me. Donald especially, he sounds more like has throat cancer than someone trying to imitate a duck. Donald's isnt BAD, it's just....a bit much.

You can hear Yamadera's throat being destroyed trying to do Donald. He's a great vocie actor who has a very wide range, but I'm not so sure Donald is for him.
