-The event is scheduled to end on today at 11:00 AM JST. Maintenance is scheduled to last until 20:00 JST.
-Yamakaze will receive her Kai-II after maintenance.
-The Summer 2021 Event is concluding. It is a small-scale Mediterranean vacation. The Extra Operation is "Operation Pedestal". There are 4 tags and 2 quests associated with E-3.
-New ships in the Main Operation are the Japanese submarine tender Chougei (E-1 drop) and the Italian battleship Conte di Cavour (E-2 reward). The armored carrier Victorious is the E-3 reward and Kaiboukan No.30 is a drop.
-New equipment implemented is the 65mm/64 Single Rapid Fire Gun Mount Kai, the 305mm/46 Twin and Triple Gun Mounts, the 320mm/44 Twin and Triple Gun Mounts, and the SM.79, SM.79 bis, and SM.79 bis (Skilled) land-based bombers, and the Corsair Mk.II (Ace).
-The July ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the Corsair Mk.II, Daihatsu (Panzer II/North Africa Spec), and the Prototype Jinpuu.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to the ongoing DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures are temporary as of right now. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy

A lot of people are pushing themselves cause they're scared that this one seemingly useless piece of gear will turn out to be crucial for some event 5 years later. It's the worst part of KC for me actually, it feels like you miss one event and you're extremely handicapped. I felt that way cause I don't have Hiryuu's, my LBAS was useless as it was dying constantly in E-3 P2. Literally only "event" I missed out.

I'm only talking about hard though, and I still cleared it easily anyway, just wasted more resoruces. It all comes to RNG in the end.

they say, but this locks you out of all of the new equipment which makes the next event even harder. I would happily drop to whatever difficulty I could complete without complaining if I didn't have to worry about missing out on the real event rewards, but we're at the point where even memedium is getting to be as hard as hard was a few years ago.

Got 2 Richelieu, 2 Roma, 3-4 Ise, more Kongos than I could count, Zara AND Pola, Mutsu, a couple CVs, and motherfucking Naka.
I’m now going to intentionally sink the next Naka I get out of spite. Cause she was the only CL I could get despite 2 days straight of S ranking reliably and like 60 runs.
I’d intended to use those extra BBS to modernize Sheffield, but now I guess I’ll use them on Conti or Yamakaze K2?

Returnee from a very very long time (probably to stay this time, since I'm not a 100-slotter anymore)
Started the event like less than a week before it ended, resources were very unbalanced and had way too few buckets (less than 200), tried to desperately brute force through the maps and ended up stuck at E3N P1's LD by running out of buckets
Got a very fine haul at least, in my opinion
Nelson and Prinz Eugen in special made me drop out of the event with a clear conscience, now I will actually prepare for the next one

This was a lot of locks. The duplicates at the bottom were for sending placeholder fleets to secure the correct tags, Taigei was duplicated since the original stayed Taigei and I couldn't bear to ban her from events just because her CVL form got too useful, and poor Maruyu got the wrong tag when I tried to do air base defense with her.

Coming back to this, looking at the wiki page it says nothing about a DE mod luck cap. HP and ASW yes but nothing about luck.
With that said, it doesn't mention what happens if you hit any of the caps, does the 50/50 chance become 100% for the remaining stat? Or does it just vanish?

you ever notice that katsuragi gets way more depresso art than any other character? even the PTSDbotes get a higher ratio of non-depresso to depresso art
there's just a melancholy that surrounds katsuragi, for a number of reasons
of course, the biggest problem with katsuragi is that she is thinking about a zuikaku that doesn't exist in kancolle. Since characters don't actually grow and change all that much, the actual sole survivor zuikaku only exists in very rare like (like her fall line)
Theoretically Enterprise could act like a second senpai to katsuragi, due to them both existing at the same time before they both got scrapped
