Brotips for playing Sharin no Kuni:

- Play to the end, don't go after any heroines until the end
- Save and get all the bad endings, though, it's pretty easy when you learn the triggers. There are 3 main ends (there's some other bad ends too but they're short and boring) and all are worth seeing.
- At the end, save and do both the Ririko and Natsumi endings
- Rather than playing the whole game again for the other endings, download a savedata from sagaoz.net and watch the endings (and if you like, the H scenes) from the scene selection menu.

I would say G Senjou's flop comes more from the Chinese to English side and also the inevitable meaning loss from going through 2 different languages rather than the Japanese to Chinese translation.

Although TLC generally misses stuff/leads to a lot more errors than just translating it yourself so, the same errors being there if it was done straight from Japanese is not necessarily true.

Just finished the game. Later it turns into preachy "life and society is beautiful you just need to see it from different angle" kind of stuff.

Don't read too much into the social implications of Sharin, it's retarded. For example, summary execution (on the spot killing) is commonplace, but death sentence (with trial, even a staged one) is outlawed and inhumane.

And don't even get me started on Sharin's laughable "capital punishment".

Still, a nice change from the usual generic "love overcomes anything" and "lol magic" plots. A few of the "DEEP phrases" in the game hold some degree of truth, for example that prison doesn't really help the prisoner's rehabilitation to society (Foucault agreed, don't bother him about it).
