Depends how long you want your hand held.
Core 6k gives you a nice catalogue of words to work through while you get comfortable with things, always having some new words waiting for you to study until you're ready to go out on your own.
Core 2.3k kicks you out at 18 and forces you to try and consume content so you meet your quota of words mined that day, even if you don't understand what you're trying to consume.

With Anki you find an amount of new cards you're comfortable learning each day. Sustaining that for as long as possible will lead to optimal gains.
At the start you'll have a stockpile of mined words and as you become more fluent it'll be rarer to find new words, so you need to consume more content to sustain your quota/learning rate.

Start again. Export the mined deck (so it loses its scheduling) before you do any deleting so you can readd it for free cards.
You can easily do 200+ cards for the first few days so it won't take long to catch back up to where you were.

As someone who is currently using arch linux while in another country to sentence mine... yea idk bout that one.

Workspaces and window managers are great and all. But the amount of programs that don't work for the dumbest reasons is baffling. I just tried to get mkvtoolnix this morning, and shit would not install through pacman cuz some ape fucked up and added some extra file in the cli, breaking everything. At least with windows' shitty, outdated code, you got millions of other people using the same shitty code, so there's a higher chance of getting support from developers there.

Once I get back from vacation, I gotta dual boot windows on this shit cuz there's literally no other way that I can run certain applications on linux cuz wine support is fucking broken.

I wish that linux got more attention and support, crazy how much share of the software space windows holds solely from its userbase,
