Anyone play Melty Blood with an arcade stick? What kind of stick do you use? I heard a lot of arcade sticks aren't compatible with Melty Blood. I want a good arcade stick for PS3 that's also compatible with PC for Melty Blood, and easy to mod so I can put better parts on it in the future. I was thinking of getting the Street Fighter IV stick because it has good parts and it's easy to mod, but I heard it has compatibility issues with PC.

When I play MB, I use this and replace all the BGM with HIIIIIIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE.

I have a 360 SE with modded parts in it and it works fine for the PC / Melty.

Actually, the PC compatibility wasn't as smooth as could be, but works none the less.

I'd disconnect my internet forever if I lost to someone who was playing with this.

If you have an intel in there you are clear for the PS3 fightstick with the added bonus of not having to download drivers, but if you got AMD you're fucked.

Which PS2 stick?

Ultimarc makes a good(just good, not great) PC stick and board that can be made compatible with any console, with the exception of the 360 at the moment. Right now I'm playing MBAA (PS2), Blaz Blue, and SFIV on it (PS3). I was doing MBAC netplay on it in the past, but I'm getting kind of acclimated to AA so I haven't recently.

Take into account, however, this is a home built setup. I built an entire arcade cabinet from scratch and set a dedicated PC in it for running MAME and such, as well as getting the adaptors for each console and whatnot. Not a cheap project by any means, particularly since the system was built for 4 player support (so my bros and I could play shit like the Simpsons Arcade, TMNT, and D&D Shadow over Mystara)

If you're looking for a prebuilt (and portable) stick, like >>3651148 said, get the PS3 version of the TE Fightstick. Good stuff.

I like my modded SE stick over the TE for portability, actually. The TE is pretty chunky.

Nah, I play MB with my Logitech G9x mouse

Not OP, but fuck, I just ordered one. No Melty for me then.

OP, I would suggest the HRAP3, then manually mod it with Sanwa/Seimitsu parts. Even better would be to get the HRAP2, since a good old PS2 - USB adaptor works well with it, plus the added bonus of playing MBAA until the (hopeful) PC port.
