a bro of mine is wondering if it's possible to import these JVC SP-FT1/FT2 speakers to the United States. I envy his money to spend.

sorry, I didn't know whether to ask /g/ or not. I know there has to be some people around here that import more than figures and VNs

Could probably just use a proxy service like Goody Japan, Tenso, or whoever.

They look like they'll sound like laptop speakers. Just louder.

Granted, there are some decent laptop speakers (when they're compared to utterly platic-sounding shit), but I'd rather have some "real" speakers.

I advice you rather buy the one from your own country, different voltage and frequency.

Last thing I heard was that Japan and the US both use 110V.
I don't know about the frequency, though.

Speaking of the possible need for adapters;
I'm a Eurofag (220-240V/50Hz), and I'm planning a trip to Japan next summer.
I'm going to bring my camera and maybe a new laptop, so what kind of adapter am I looking for?

I just had a thing to swap the plug when I was in Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand last year, but I don't think it can do anything as far as the voltage goes.
