Here's my current friends. Everyone except Cirno, Yukari, and Luna Child is at their max level. I have 12 Paper Dolls left, so I'm planning out how to spend them. Right now my biggest bottle neck is, surprise surprise, Dragon Scrolls. Marisa needs fucking 90 and she'll be finished and ready for stars. I think after Yukari I'll limit break Eirin next. I would Kaguya, Yorihime, or Suwako but dragon scrolls.

Seriously fuck Dragon scrolls. It's so tiresome.

I've been feeling so tapped out by this game lately. Didn't feel any desire to touch the tower when it was around, hadn't bothered to rack up even 50 battles for the previous weekly task. Even this event couldn't bring the spark back - I can barely bring myself to clear all x5 stages for the day. And even then, it's not fun, it's just an obligation so I don't lose out on progress.
How long does an average person stay with this type of games for, anyway?

Depends. Some get burned out fairly quickly, others stick with them to EoS. I wouldn't really say there's an average, as a lot of it depends on how good the game is and how lucky you are with the gacha. This one at least is fairly forgiving in that if you completely drain your SP, you can take a break for several days without worrying about hitting the cap as long as you log in about once a day to collect from the shrine. Some gacha games have such tight stamina caps that you'll go from empty to hard capped overnight.

What are your opinions on the voices in this game? I like having three options, and most of them fit my headcanons. The only character I think doesn’t really suit what I had in mind is any of Cirno’s voices, but the quality of everyone else’s is too high for me to be bothered by that. Reimu’s third voice and Youmu’s second are perfect, IMO.

And even if you're using the free rituals, those are limited and only get you 5 more cubes. Let's say you get 3 from Sanae's shop over the course of the day, that's still 32 cubes you have to be getting from errands, 37 once you run out of rituals. I just don't see how you're getting that many from errands unless you're being a good little boy for Nitori and can skip the GC errands.

This game is really generous with giving out cubes, so if you save you shouldn’t have an issue. Just do your dailies, and I can usually rack up anywhere from 10-40 extra cubes from errands. I’ve been saving since around June and I’m almost at my fourth spark, just waiting for the banners I want to drop.

Highly depends on which one you are going for. Mech Reisen, Youmu and Marisa are the best characters in the game with absurd damage and really good support for each other and regular characters so they can improve already good characters even more. Someone like Black Youmu meanwhile really doesn't do anything special. Cyber Sakuya is also kinda meh because single target LW are not needed as often and characters like Miko's horse and Hecatia are not too far behind in damage. Loli Yuyuko also gets pretty outclassed damage wise by the new crew and loses a lot of her power on auto play.

Enemies in the tower get more and more health as it goes on with multiple health bars which works well with the SFes units because they all have the maximum number of elemental attacks to break shields and the arena mode needs you to kill things as fast as possible because the enemies in it can kill many characters in one hit.

I think it is better that way. Other games will lack behind forever and I am not sure if people would be happy with global if it had the pace that the jap version originally had. The jap version has a history of having long stretches of basically nothing happening with a lot of minor characters taking up the one banner slot. Might be good to save up more but at the same time you are not doing anything of note either. It took forever for the jap version to get more plot chapters while people were sitting around looking at individual fairy banners.

Toyohime and Suika is probably the best team global can use especially if you give Toyohime enough attack buffing cards. She can end up killing the last surviving fairies in wave 2 with her regular attack. It is possible to full auto Red Marisa with Tewi + Yuyuko but they need to be at full power to prevent scenarios like Marisa surviving with 1000 HP to use her LW against you. Medicine + Yuuka is technically the best team for Marisa because it is impossible for them to ever lose.

Eirin, Sanae, Lily, and Minoriko are the only available healers right now. I don't have all of them, but it's probably Minoriko <= Lily << Sanae <= Eirin
Minoriko has only one heal skill but all of her spellcards heal. Lily has lower hp, so her heals aren't as potent, but at least she has two heals. Sanae has a heal and a gigaheal, and is probably the best for only healing over long battles. Eirin is the best because she has two heals and can also do damage.

What does reincarnation do exactly? Cause I feel some units like Seiran and Nitori aren't going to be good even with stat buffs. They need different abilities that actually do something useful.

It raises stats and it changes the level of the character used for damage calculations. The game factors in a character's level when calculating damage with higher level = more damage and reincarnation makes it so that the character is treated as a higher level in that. It does benefit characters like Kasen and Youmu who were already able to deal good damage but it does fuck all for someone like Patchouli. She has 1700 attack after reincarnation which is top tier in terms of stats but her LW is still one of the worst in the game and her damage still sucks.

Depends who you have as friends. She makes content easier; you can use her to farm, she's great in difficult events, and one of the better barrier breakers out there. She's still top tier in the JP version.
If you managed to get to the 40th floor without her, you're doing fine. If your playstyle is to turtle and heal your way to victory, you don't really need her. But if you want to take it easy, she does the job.

That's up to you, but as someone who has her I would say she is. Stallmemeing enemies in the tower with fire and water weaknesses is really comfy with her since she's got those elements on her 0P basic shots, and she's also my go-to if I need to full break star enemies as quickly as possible. At level 90, her attack stats are higher than most of my level 100 characters, and even the ones that do beat her only do it in either yin or yang, with her usually being significantly stronger than them in the other. Her other stats seem to be about average, though her ability and passives do make her extra resiliant against elements she already resists. Pretty much the only reason she isn't my main farmer is because I don't have her Last Word unlocked yet. Then again, she's a SuperFes, so I assume being really good is par for the course. But like >>36453688 said, if you've made it to the 40th floor without her, you're fine.
