Which 2hu bosses are your favorites?
Shinmyoumaru and her miracle mallet will forever be the most epic and intriguing one for me, but what does /jp/ think?

Yuyuko’s stage is by far my favorite, especially the music. Something about Ultimate Truth, Sumizome and Border of Life brings about images of cherry blossoms in my minds eye just by listening to it. Pair that with the actual cherry blossoms in the game makes for a very emotional reaction. I have never experienced this with a piece of music until I played PCB.

Second would be Shinmyoumaru, the lead up to the castle and her boss theme is great.

Another great thing about Shinmyoumaru’s fight is that while most Touhou villains know what they’re doing is wrong, Shimmy is convinced that she’s doing what’s best for her people. Makes the fight all that much better.

Yuyuko just wants to see the cherry blossoms bloom.
Kaguya is borrowing the moon to hide herself deom pursuers.
Eirin is just following orders.
Yamaxanadu literally can do no wrong.
Kanako is merely gathering faith.
Bird is just a dumb, idiotic bird. She probably lacks an understanding of good or bad in the first place.
Reimu attacks Byakuren seconds after freeing her for no reason, she doesn't have time to do anything wrong.
Toyosatomimi no Miko is a youkai hunter and therefore in the right by default.
Shinmyoumaru just wants to help the weak.
Okina... yeah, Okina is a bitch just like Remilia, I'll give you that.
And I still don't understand who was in the right in the conflict regarding the beast realm.
