I would rather timotei for hours then attend a con.

Op here,

I'm with you. I'm going because I'm being dragged there with some friends from school. I live literally next door to the Con so it's not like I am going out of my way. I'm going in hopes of finding some tasty Ichigo Mashimaro stuff because I'm a closet pedo and would love to wack it all over chi-chan's figure.

So, "timotei" for hours, after which time you'll then attend a con?

Sounds horrible.

I have the most stereotypical view of cons which revolves around really loud / obnoxious meme spouting 4chan users in ugly costumes and just ugh, really uncomfortable. Though I suppose your reasoning is okay. If it's close enough and one was only going to buy some things, then it's fine I guess.

While I don't support cons, I do support the secret love of Chika.

It would be cheaper and make more sense to simply order the things online.

Y..yes. Dammit.

>>3634744
It's not always cheaper to order things online and there is a certain convenience to being able to buy things in person, or even stumbling upon something you were unaware of to buy it. I would still never attend a con, but it's the only valid reason I could think of where I would consider it.

>> No.3634771

I'll be there, OP.

Maybe not all cons are the same, but I went to one once to buy things, and everything was marked up. And of course there is a convenience to buy things in person, but there is also a convenience to be able to buy things whenever you wan.t

Op here,
Never been to a con before. What should I expect? I'm a pretty vocal person who is pretty much looking forward to just making fun of people, same with a few of my friends that are attending.

Vast majority of attendees to be kids. Lots of low level people. Some who come just come to cosplay. Lots of terrible cosplay. Usually have events, depends on how large the con is. Voice actors signing stuff, performances etc. I went in August so it was like 38 degrees waiting in line for the seller's room. Might not be as bad for you.

Fascinating, Sakura.

>> No.3634867

Cons are worth attending for numerous reasons, such as good/terrible cosplay, but cheap merchandise is not one of them.
