The other routes were too shoujo hurr dur childhood romance, hur dur forbidden love. Kira good was also very good but no where near as powerful as the true end. I will start from the CG you posted and briefly summarize it from what I can remember
Kira goes into her house to save her family after her father lights the house on fire to save her mother father and sisters. Once they are all out she tries to go back for the Microphone everyone bought her (which was her only birthday present ever and the one thing she had left from the trip.) Since she was going to enter a life of prostitution and could never have good memories again the Microphone held possibly the last fun memories of her life. She ends up dying in the hospital after Meajima visits her. Meajima goes to the burned house the next day and sits in the charred ruins holding her bag and crying that he lost the woman he loves.
It skips to a few years in the future Murakami made Meajima join the band he was making and while they are still an Underground band they are moderately famous. The band is made up of Murakami, Kenta's cousin, Some Samurai drummer, Maejima, and Aki. Aki turns out to be the girl who was being grabbed by the man in Osaka and Kirari gave her shoes too earlier in the game. Aki who had a troubled life went to the concert and was so impressed by the performance she cleaned up her life and pursued a life in music. She then traveled to Tokyo a few years later to look for Kirari and Maejima and try to join their band.

>> No.3622322

>>3622318
Maejima during this time is having troubles getting of Kirari and is still depressed over it. He lives alone hardly doing anything outside of the band and his room is in shambles. He begins to hallucinate that Kirari is alive and goes as far as almost thinking of digging up her grave to prove she is dead. His hallucination of Kirari leads him to the school and guides him to the roof where he remembers all the times he and the girls spent practicing to preform in the cultural fair. He has a revelation and realizes that continuing down this path will only harm him and starts to make things better. He reconciles with his parents, thinks about getting a more stable job, and starts to really grow up. He finds a note of scribbles for a song that Kirari had wrote before she had died in the bag he found in the ruins of her house all those years ago and writes a song based on it. He tells Aki who had been getting record deals to take the step to a major label and leave the band (which she felt she was abandoning them) in order to live her dream of singing on a big stage. Maejima and his band get on stage and he talks about what he went through and announces the song he wrote is dedicated to Kirari and the credits roles with the song playing in the backround.

One important thing you left out is:
While Maejima honestly thought about getting a normal job and "growing up", he eventually decided that the only way he could live is in the crazy world of music. He reinforces this in his speech right before the last song.

By the way, read the lyrics for all of the songs if you haven't, some of them are really good. Especially the song played at the end of this route, "a song for… ".

I liked Kirari, I was not happy at all to see her die. But the route had by far the best character development, the others just pale beside it.

I was actually really disappointed, because I was looking forward to Kirari's true ending, but felt really let down that it wasn't anywhere near as good as the good ending.

You need to do all 3 to get to the last one. Each route is different and emphasizes a different thing.
Kira: The ups and downs of life.
Chie: Comedy and starting a life together.
Kashiwara: Romance and problems you have to surpass to achieve it.

>>3622442
I like happy endings as much as the next guy and while I respect your opinion I have to disagree in the case of KiraKira. I thoroughly enjoyed each route however the impact that the first Kira route left me with was one that none of the others could live up to. Disclaimer: I'm not completely fluent in Japanese. However seeing as its gone this long without anyone translating it, I decided to give it a shot. Apologies if it sounds awkward, song lyrics are hard to translate well.

That said, here is my translation of "a song for..."

In this dimming world where the darkness hides your breath, I only pushed the truth.

With the same weight of your words that I lost, I try to catch the shining light.

"It's all right" I mutter and open my eyes.

Heading towards the new morning, I advance into the distance. Time flows and parts and fades into memories.

Your song becomes my path. I embrace that tomorrow and walk forward.

The color of the usual scenery no longer reflects you. It eventually melts and blends together.

As if calm thin clouds surround it.

A wide singing voice reaches towards the end of the dim sky. As if protecting me, it sparkles and shines through.

Connecting with your song, that fragment of tomorrow, I follow it anywhere.

I'm overcoming that night when I could hardly move. Your eternity will surely stay alive within your song.

A wide singing voice reaches towards the end of the dim sky. As if protecting me, it sparkles and shines through.

Heading towards the new morning, I advance into the distance. Time flows and parts and fades into a memory.

Your song becomes my path. I embrace that tomorrow and walk forward.

On and on forever.
