How does one get into playing the PC-98 games? Is an emulator needed? And where can I download the games?

T98-Next is a better emulator than Anex. The only thing is that I don't think it can go fullscreen.

The only one I tried to use was Anex 86. It wasn't too complicated to figure it out and you can attach AGTH to work with it.

I usually use NP2 to play, because I can't for the life of me figure out how to get Anex86 to run at a higher speed. With NP2, it's right there in Emulate > Configure > CPU speed.

Thanks to you, OP, I remembered these games existed and somehow 1cc'd Lotus Land Story with three lives left. Hell yeah.
I hope I didn't lose too many frames.
