Hey guys!! Anybody actually speak japanese? I'm just starting and could use some help. I can do numbers and know a few basic words... think I should memorize the alphabet? How much should be enough? All Hiragana, Kana, and Katakana?

The fact that OP doesn't realize the word kana is an umbrella term under which hiragana and katakana both fall and not its own syllabary doesn't bode well for his chances.
