I do remember it feeling pretty shit when I started playing but unless you wanted to mlb every UR you got even if you never planned on using them they started to add up since they would also have times where they'd give some out or you could buy extra.

Compass has updated and Nidhogg's themed cards have been added. They can currently only be obtained via silver tickets until the 31st, but will be added to the card pool later on.
A co-op mission to capture 10 million portal keys is available until the 31st, rewarding up to two 128GB data chips once all missions are complete.
A new daily mission is also available - simply win three matches to get 2 UR tickets. This is available until the 26th, meaning you can get a free UR card out of it.
Finally, there will be a news stream on the 22nd with information about a new hero.

At least a raising simulator is something new in the mobagesphere. Only game that's done it in recent time is Shiny Colors and that's not even a mobile game but a browser game and it uses entirely L2D instead of the high quality 3D models Uma has.
Turn based RPGs on the other hand are a dime a dozen. I see no reason why I'd want to pick up this one in particular when it looks like 5 other games I've already played and dropped.

I guess the only "real" content are daily guild wars where you queue your girls to fight 1 on 1 battles until one side wipes, and yes, whales can literally wipe a whole f2p guild with 1 overpowered unit. Guild wars also require you to be on a top 16 guild I think, which isn't hard unless you have an obvious gaijin name and get kicked because you can't communicate strats with them

Ignis Will-O-Wisp, the winner of the third hero design contest, will be implemented after maintenance today. 25 free hero tokens and 3 hero tickets will be distributed as a reward in some form afterwards. There will also be the usual rate-up hero gacha.

Ignis is an attacker who has a focus on damage and mobility.
His hero skill is quite quick to cast and creates a firenado in a decently sized area around him - this also follows enemies who have had the smoke effect applied to them. It is an instant kill to anyone who gets caught without a 100% shield or counter.
His hero action throws his handcuffs over a long range. This can be used to either fly towards terrain (including portal keys) or towards an enemy - if you hit an enemy, you will pull yourself towards them and do an attack that knocks them down and applies a smoke effect.
His hero ability causes Ignis to deal extra damage to anyone who is affected by his smoke.
His fastest casting cards are close range and AoE ones which allow for a quick followup attack if you hit a grapple.

For other stuff, September's season will be themed around Novice Hero and there are a bunch of in-person things taking place in Japan. The rhythm game still looks to be ready to release in December/winter 2022, but I imagine we will hear more about that during the anniversary.

SC just have more gameplay than uma not only because it has more player modes that resumes on raising stats but auditions actually requires you to choice a skill to fill the judges gap instead or just seeing your horse race and have a chance of activate their skills, in other words by nature auditions are less reliant on RNG than races, but that depends on what you're into
