NEETs are the ultimate winners of the Prisoner's Dilemma.

They don't cooperate with society while everyone else cooperates, maximizing their own self benefit at the expense of others. Wage-slave normalfags are the suckers from whom the NEETs can reap the benefits of society while not having to cooperate at all. The suckers payoff sure is nice.

What would happen if all the normal people - or even just a significant amount of them - decided to join the ranks of the NEETs? All of you, and all of us would be screwed. Obviously, this won't happen, but the fact remains that you need us. You rely on us. After all, to use your exemplary metaphor, without a second prisoner the first would have no way out. We are the ones who chose to see the good in humanity only to be betrayed. You cannot look at a normal man and honestly state that your existence is superior to his because it is thanks to his grace, and the grace of a planet's worth of humans, that you are allowed to continue grovelling and clinging to life by the tips of your fingers.
