What’s more interesting to me about pc98 yuuka is despite making jokes like that and the genocide line, she is one of the most peaceful characters of them all. Doesn’t even start her own incident, (blamed by Reimu with no evidence for an unrelated attack on her shrine, attacked out of the blue by Marisa), doesn’t kill anybody in mystic square, and even takes care in one of the endings to avoid harming innocent lives while testing out new magic. Extremely strong physically, which juxtaposes with her more emotional side. But it's whatever, I've read enough canon material to know that it's not true in the slightest. Still annoying and sometimes makes me wonder if I was better off picking some bimbo like Okuu who gets nothing but vanilla even though Okuu could actually be argued as genocidal.
Of course I also find her attractive too, the color theory on her design is amazing (green for serenity, red eyes for passion - the window to the soul), short wavy sex hair, the plaid is something pretty unique to her as well + not having a hat. Just very striking in general even among the touhou cast

When I first went through the games I also thought of her as being something of a genius savant too - birds can be very intelligent after all. But the reality is Okuu’s perception is that of an extreme clueless deredere competent at basically nothing but paizuri who gets the most lovey-dovey wholesome porn of any character. Which I don’t think is completely fair considering she literally tries to usurp control of gensokyo for herself using her extremely violent powers - i.e actual sociopathic behavior. ZUN doesn't excel with character writing, but he gives basic information that can be pieced out to make speculations out of a character. Okuu doesn't boil down to a sociopath all because of a single incident. It's clear that ZUN wrote Okuu as a 'Dumb but powerful' type of character, had you observed that, you would have came to the conclusion that Okuu is dumb. She's not supposed to be an 'Ultra evil sociopath' she is dumb, and in her eyes, she's doing good by expanding hell on the surface world, she doesn't think that far ahead or think of the consequences. You don't necessarily get an evil character because of their evil deeds, Okuu is more about ignorance and the danger it possess. Similar situation with Yuuka whenever she plays the antagonist role.
If you really hate the Okuufags that much, I advice that you don't do the same waifufagging with Yuuka.

It's less sociopathic behavior and more on dangerous ignorance; Yuuka provokes others not because she's a sadist, but for a different reason. I'm not entirely sure why she does it, but it's not because she's sadistic. I'm saying that the motive matters.
There's just one too many romance devotees in Yuuka and Okuu's thread, maybe even every character. There's a thin line between the character staying in character, and being an entirely new character, most descriptions of Yuuka here crosses the line. It's just extremely out of character for any of them to show romantic feelings or feel it. I'm not saying it's impossible either, but it will take one hell of a writer to get the correct interpretation of Yuuka to blush or tease anyone in a loving manner.
I just think that it fits better to admire Yuuka from afar without completely making an entirely separate character. I hope that my words atleast influences you even just slightly.

I have an example from my school years. Some comp-sci autists wrote an AI that, after being fed a set of 19th century romantic poems, produced an original work in the same style which then proceeded to win 1st place in a national poetic writing competition. Sure you could say that the AI did it only after looking at examples, but that's pretty much how humans learn.

That classmate responded to the above by saying that this example is too narrow and specific. While this is true, it's still a proof-of-concept. I'm by no means trying to say that making an AI that can surpass humans in creativity will be easy. It may well be the case that the approach towards will be asymptotic with AI's creativity reaching that of a human's after infinite development time.
