If you're at max going into stage 5, you're playing below your level. That's almost impossible for me on Hard, which I can clear with regularity. In fact, I think it would be difficult for me on Normal.

It took me 1 year to unlock the Extra Stage... And almost another year to beat Flandre.

And now, my computer wont let me play EoSD anymore, because I don't know. I still need to clear Extra Stage with Reimu A! And I was so close to beating it on Lunatic!

I could probably do IN without much difficulty, but I've been busy working on SA(IE, not losing 5+ lives to Orin and having not enough for Utsuho) and UFO (Same deal, except with Shou).

Also, I've nearly got Flandre down, but that's a different story.

MoF, I think. I could say IN, because I remember clearing it on a daily basis a long time ago, but back then my computer was even worse than it is now and I didn't know what a FPS counter was. And it usually wasn't 60.

I don't know about that. For me, Orin's easier than Okuu because I've figured out Orin's patterns. Once you do that, Orin's virtually the same every single time. Okuu on the other hand relies a lot more on luck and reactions since more of her bullets are randomly places.

Thought I had it with one life and three bombs when I reached Remilia's last health bar but then remembered "oh fuck, Red Magic" and then proceeded to die like a bitch to it 5-6 times.

I didn't had much experience with danmaku shooters before, I think the game I could relate the most was Ikaruga, but even so it was quite different. But when I started playing EoSD I was totally hooked. I made the game with continues, unlocked every stage with practice mode and made them dozen of times until I got to an acceptable level or I could copy a play I watched in Youtube or a replay. Hell, I even made a paper chart on where I would use each of the 30 something bombs that the game gives. It was that bad. The first time I cleared Remilia felt so fucking good.

Oh yeah, I should add that my first 1cc was with 5 lives, only later I went back a re-cleared it with 3.
