Why are these ladies called hags when most of the cast is made up of senior citizens? Cirno's at least 60, and Tewi is over a thousand years old.
The only ones who SHOULDN'T be called hags are young human characters.

Well, for certain, they're all fairly old from a human lifespan's standpoint. A "hag" has various connotations other than old, though:
-ugly
-slattern
--untidy due to neglect
--characteristic of a slut or prostitute
-sinister
-old

I see old, from our perspective, but that's about it.
