Any Lunatic/Hard node that you can clear with a single strong friend. Hard gives ~12 coins, Lunatic gives ~16. If you're using MLB friend, no awakenings, SP cost should be 8. So on Lunatic, you're 13.7k should become at least 27k coins or so. Don't forget your natural SP regen too.

I genuinely and unironically think the writing in this game is pretty good. The "parallel worlds" thing is kind of a cheap way to create steaks without actually threatening our Gensokyo but that's also kind of why I like it. Feels like it lets the game have a balance between having a serious story but also having a Gensokyo to fuck around and become a maid with Youmu in.

The inner sap in me likes that I can at least help to save some of these Bad End worlds and return them to the normal cheerful Gensokyo

It's a little sad how easy it was to figure out what happened with context from the Japanese players. But when you consider what the main plot point is for Lost Word incidents, what happened in this world is actually quite tragic, so I think it has emotional impact even when you know the "ending". The whole lore surrounding this parallel world and Flan's story and SDM residents is pretty well thought out.

2X drops for main quests, but everything I need to upgrade Yuyukow to get the ACC skill unlocked is in the event stages. Had to blow my paperdolls to upgrade her to 90 and I am still nowhere near to autofarming Redrisa. I can barely beat her and Medicine doesn't do anything at 70.

It feels like the people who are writing things actually have a pretty good handle on both all the canon info as well as a wide net for things that most people would know as typical fanon.

I'm always impressed at some of the descriptions of the story cards and characters, even for more obscure ones. I didn't really expect a game like this to make references to things from the manga and print works, like that Clownpiece lives under the Hakurei Shrine. It's more extensive than I expected.

One of the reasons for why Yuuka is top tier is because she can can kill the boss and the fairies on turn 1 100% of the time if paired with Medicine.

Breaking all the shields an enemy has will stun them for 1 turn and pretty much set their defense to almost 0, allowing you to deal massive damage. Hitting elemental weaknesses breaks barriers. Some characters like Cirno or Medicine have special attacks that remove barriers with certain status effects on them too. Here is Red Marisa almost being instantly killed by just Medicine's LW even though it is super weak. All because she got fully broken early in the attack.

Yes, the hexes are the shields, same as for the player. Status effects get placed on non-destroyed shields and stack with each other. Destroying shields with status effects on them also removes the status effect. The game shows you how many shields an attack is going to remove with the little elements above it. Hecatia in this image would remove 2 shields from Yukari with her 2nd spell, assuming she also hits.

It never removes more than what the icons show because the game only applies the barrier breaking properties to very specific parts of the attack. Suwako's LW hits a single target 33 times but it will still never remove more than what it shows. It is even possible to get into dumb situations in which 32 out of 33 hits landed but the 1 hit that missed was one that had a barrier breaking effect.

How would Yuyuko going first or second guarentee victory? Yuyuko does more damage than Ran even without full break. One turn victory requires full break so you would need Medi to attack either first or second. Medi is slower than both Ran and Yuyuko. The only way to guarentee someone goes after Medi is to use their third skill. The last activated charge overwrites the first. Ergo the most damage can only be achieved by having Yuyuko go last.

Having lost on full auto even once does not make Ran, Medi, and Yuyuko a perfect solution. It can be pretty good, or the best you can do with global, but it is not 100%

Medi had a base agility at max stats of 950. Ran is 990 and Yuyuko is 1170. Unless you are putting extra VTotT on Medi beyond her LW, which would be entirely unnecessary in an auto run as the secondary stat on VTotT is Yang DEF, she will not go first. Even if you were running 6 VTotT with three of them being MLBed it would be foolish as you would still be losing DPS as Ran and Yuyuko are both Yang Only Last Words so you would require several 8 10+ MLBed 5* cards to make chosing agility exclusive story cards numerically superior.

Specifically, element/shot type X% up is good, but not as good as a Yin/Yang X stages up bonus. I don't know the exact point X% up would be better than Yin/Yang up, though. Take this image and reverse-engineer it to identify useful spell cards.
As for evasion/crit accuracy, I dunno. Probably only helpful on manual if you're building for it. Like if you give Reimu an evasion card along with her innate skills.

I mean it's not like regular attacks are that important but she does get 3 elements without any boost via her spell cards. And goddamn she has so many accuracy boosters.
I'm trying not to roll any characters for gameplay reasons but damn both of them are tempting. Hopefully I'll luckshit one of them.

So how exactly does this work? Does it use yang defense instead of yang attack to calculate damage? Both? Does it include buffs?

im a hoarder as well so i feel your pain. thankfully there is a page on the Gamepress wiki specifically about which cards are safe to junk (most of the 3*).

personally i limit break one copy of every card to keep for collection purposes since fully mlb cards have the full lore on them. the rest are safe to part ways with.

so for example i have like 10 unagi stand cards, i limit break one to maximum to get all the okamysty lore, lock that card so i cant accidentally part ways with it, then get rid of the rest.
