I would post this on /g/ but I'm sure you guys have more experience with Touhou problems then them.

As you can see, the background images are all fucked up. This affects 6-8 but 10 and above are fine. Anyone know what the cause might be? I'm running Windows 7, I have the jap lang pack installed, directx and my non-unicode option is set to japanese as well.

No, no, the windows option for non-unicode programs. It's a must for VNs so I always leave it with Japanese option.

I tried a bunch of different compatibility settings, nothing changed. I don't think that's the problem anyway, I heard that Touhou games work fine on Vista/W7, it must be something else.

Try running it in 1/2 or 1/3 refresh rate. I had similar problems on Win7 w/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285. The title background is still missing, but everything is is there.

Didn't help much. You see, the game works fine, the only thing that's really fucked up is the background (besides Imperishable Night, I've noticed lag spikes on that one). I could leave it alone, but I bet the endings will be messed up too and it will piss me off if I go through the trouble of beating the game and not be able to see the ending.

Touhous runs at 65 fps on my craptop.

It's not that big of a difference, but the fact that the game runs 1/12 faster is a little unsettling. How do I fix this?
