New player here, started on the first day of the event with a few questions.

Based on what I read on the gamepress, my order for developing friends should be something like Yuyuko > Ran > Youmu or something like that? I was blessed with two copies of Yuyuko from the 72 hour new player Gatcha which was, she has been just murdering everything so far up to Hard but I haven't been able to touch Lunatic yet though.

How important is Awakening? And also what Story Cards are safe to turn into Tokens? Increased Spell Card level seems good but I'm worried about getting rid of cards that are potentially useful, also that increased SP cost.

How do I burn excess coins over my cap? Through all the event stuff I seem to be getting way more than I can dump on prayers.

Why the fuck did they make Meiling so bad in this game? I was so happy when I got her in my first roll out of the tutorial to find out she exists in her own special "don't even bother" tier.

Should I be dumping dupe characters into LBs for everyone as they come in or just token them if it's not someone I intend to use much?

Pretty much. Though personally I did Youmu first since she's the easiest.

Not terribly useful, I would save it for the very last thing you do on a character, since the benefit for doing it prior is small. It raises your SP cost for the unit. You get more bang from your buck from the other buffs to the unit first.

Save for festivals when you need to pay to spark. Sparking will be the reliable way you get those units.

Always limit break. You get a disappointing amount of tokens out of characters.

I only have Patchy personally, but from my experience with her I'd raise Alice first if I were you. Patchy's gimmick of having every element in her arsenal is useful in theory, but in practice you need to get her to 3[P] before she can make use of most of them.
