If Calli's a good GM, they won't have that problem. The GM makes all the difference in tabletop. A good GM pulls people into roleplaying by having NPCs talk to them and staying in-character themselves, which incentivizes the players to actually play.
Calli's a huge spaghetti-spiller, though, so we'll see.
I'd like to think if you have a job pretending to be a cute pure anime waifu all day, you can pretend to be an RPG character, right?
