Squeezing out the air from Onaholes is always recommended, and for some it's straight up required. If you do have DGS, then that's the main reason you may not be enjoying Onaholes to their fullest though. ones made out of diatomaceous earth don't play very well with super soft holes since they like to clean. spongy holes play better with softer holes but are also rarer to find.
I'd recommend them for ones with complicated tunnel structers. You clean with a (microfiber) towel, you stick the drying stick in the hole for 10 minutes and in 99% of situations, the hole will be bone dry.

There are multiple problems I have with that actually.
