"ze" is a masculine deformation of "ne" like the same way "sugeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" is what Nico-tards say instead of simply "sugoi".

So don't go putting it at the end of every sentence in places where you wouldn't be putting "ne" ordinarily.

An informal copular verb (the informal form of "desu") along with said informal deformation of "ne"

>> No.348874

YOU'RE WRONG. IT'S CLEARLY SEEN IN MULTIPLE LINES AS A REPLACEMENT FOR "DESU", SOMETIMES WITH OR WITHOUT "DA". FREQUENTLY USED IN PLACES WHERE ONE WOULD NOT US "NE", UNLESS YOU THINK THAT SO MANY "ZE" USERS ARE ASKIN QUESTIONS EVERY 5 SECONDS.

No, it has nothing to do with the sound. Ze, zo, and yo are all used for emphasis. Ne is a tag question which can be used for emphasis but is primarily used to seek confirmation.
