HF is still the best route and Sakura is still the best heroine, slut or not. Unlike UBW and Fate, Sakura H-scene comes in pretty late in HF arc though, but it will be almost everyday from forth. Well, her route is more than twice as long I think.

Initially, she is just like that.
When you get fucked, pride somewhat escapes.
Somewhat.
And the sooner you realize you can enslave her with food, the better.
It's not like the character 'magically' changes.
Saber was not moe, only gained small such attributes AFTER the date.
HA is a different cookie.

Her ideal and what she tried to do was not the most feasible thing either.
And Shirou, apart from a sword, is pure unadulterated morale courage incarnate, who accepts his failures and keeps moving, something Saber could not do.
That strikes a sensitive button.

She had similar naive ideas as king, sacrificing herself for her kingdom only to have it all end in shit. Really a great part of the Fate route was devoted to drawing parallels between Saber's and Shirou's worldviews.
