Personally, I've just been grinding cuckoos. They drop eggs, you can fuse them into mayo which npcs for 100g (4 eggs to make), and feathers which npc for 30g each. Made enough to outfit my loli/buy tons of mp pots. I just started today though, so there's likely to be better ways I'm not aware of.

If you don't want to fight you can level via delivery or collection quests, though you only get 5 quests every 24 hours.

Otherwise, the combat/stat system is respectable and there's lots of emotes and possibilities for shenanigans. That and dressup/housing/mounts/anime stuff. That's pretty much the majority of what makes the game enjoyable. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea but it does live up to it's subtitle of 'Japanese Anime MMORPG'.

Stats don't affect refining or anything, so stick to a standard str build with either vit or agi as defensive stats, plus some dex for accuracy.

As for skills, definitely max ore knowledge and increase weight limit, rest is up to you.

Anyway, I forgot to mention one thing when I was giving my run-down of the magic classes: trying to become a warlock sucks--I mean SUCKS--if you're any class other than dominion. Since Emils and Titanians don't have enough "darkness" in their hearts or whatever, the guy at the black church sends you out to the Isle of the Dead to talk to the dark fairy out there and get your soul tainted. Sounds easy enough except for the fact that the island is FULL of agressive mobs that can easily do 60+ damage in one shot, so you have to either level up quite a ways with absolutely no skills or get a higher level friend to possess you so you can take them to the island so they can defend you.

Gotta buy it. Equip locations change depending on your class and the level you are, though. What I mean is that it's not like you can go to any given town and find all the staves in the game or something. You're gonna want to explore a bit and check any merchants you can to see if they have gear suited to your level and job class

I kind of gave a run-down on spelluser builds in the other thread. Basically, for magic stats, you've got Magic, Intelligence and Dexterity. Magic influences your magic's damage and your mana, Dexterity lets you cast faster and Intelligence affects ranged accuracy and success rates for status effect skills and spells. I personally find Int to be fairly useless and I think a Mag>Dex build is the way you want to go. Keep in mind, though, that I'm not familiar with the skill set you have for your second jobs, so, you may end up wanting to change your build somewhere down the road...

As for grinding, I advise finding a meat shield to possess and just healing him while he does all the work.
