Pads are versatile as fuck because you can use them button pads, have bindings on outer ring, there's also a button with nice satisfying click underneath. Thumbsticks are dogshit input method. I hope one day Valve finally releases SC2 with swappable parts so I could ditch the stick and replace it with dpad.
