You can't observe every single mating in nature, so it isn't impossible that it did happen sometime. But it would be very unlikely.
Not sure about this one, but in some spider species the female doesn't recognise males of her own species - the male has to distract her with food while mating, after which he gets the hell out. She just considers him food.
