So /jp/, what is the best/easiest job to get in Japan other than English teacher? I hate kids.

I'd love to go to animation school and try to become an animator, or work in video games.

>> No.3410478

Why do you want to go to Japan in the first place?

Then go to Korea or India. NEXT.

You'll never work on glorious Nippon games or animation.

Comiket is the only valid reason.

Korea is just a fake Japan...

India sucks.

Which is why they outsource all their animators there. Cheap labor. You aren't especially bright, are you?

Not if you love it, and everyone has to start at the bottom. Who's to say that I won't become the next Miyazaki?

>> No.3410541

>>3410525
You're not Japanese. You'll never be the next Miyazaki, Makoto Shinkai, Isao Takahata, or Satoshi Kon.

>> No.3410544

That's only less reason for me to go to Korea or India over Japan. Cheap labor for Japan means less money for the people doing the work.

Become an animator in America.
High pay, no talent required.

From what I remember, the top guy at Gonzo is a gaijin.

Yeah, just like everyone else.

Take a number.

>> No.3410666

If you want to get into the animation business, it might be easier to go to the Philippines.
70% of Toei's animation is done there.
And quite a few of the Pixar animators come from there; there's a lot of hidden Filipino stuff in Pixar movies.

Become a sumo wrestler. You're fat enough.

I've wanted to compose music for vidya or animu in Japan for a while, but /jp/ kinda convinced me a while ago that I'd be treated like a slave and that they probably don't want a dirty gaijin involved in their works anyway.

Sounds reasonable enough, but I still want to believe ;_;
