>I see people dump on her all the time but never the shark or the fat detective why is that?
There are many reasons why >we hate Kiara. Much of the hate stems from her roommate's past, but a good deal of it has to do with her actions since joining HoloLive.
When HoloEN were first doxxed, Kiara's roommate's Twitter was leaked, and on it there was clear evidence that she supported things like BLM, trans rights, and basically every other left wing liberal internet talking point you can imagine. Obviously the introduction of somebody so politically outspoken into an (at the time) apolitical environment was met with a certain degree of hostility, as HoloLive, for many people, was an escape from an otherwise exhausting and shitty reality. Furthermore, if you do some more digging on her roommate's past, you'll see plenty of evidence that she's a toxic menhera whose previous forays into the idol industry were met with failure, largely in part to her own tendency to self-sabotage. There are literally generals devoted to talking shit about her on other chans.
After debuting in HoloLive, Kiara came on heavy towards Pekora both on Twitter and during her streams. It was Pekora this and Pekora that, and the vast majority of nousagis responded negatively, seeing her actions as an attempt to leech off of the most popular Holo. When they finally did do a collab, Kiara displayed a surface level knowledge of Pekora at best, which more or less confirmed people's suspicions that her whole act was just a ruse to try and increase her own popularity by getting a rub from Pekora. When Moona put her dick on the table, Kiara backed off completely and now she barely ever even mentions Pekora.
Basically she has all the traits of a social climbing menhera, and her fanbase being comprised largely of unironic Reddit EOP crossboarders doesn't help her case either.
