Well that's the thing, we don't actually need to do anything other than not buy the titles. The cost of using Denuvo is insanely expensive, even at the most budget level. We're talking at least $50,000 a title which is basically the entire cost of licensing and translating a moderately length title. There's no way <2 hour nukiges will ever recoup that investment in any reliable manner. Sure you might get one that will, but the other 10 wont. Eventually they'll have lost too much money to continue putting Denuvo in western releases or people find ways around stripping the content out of the title and using other releases to circumvent the drm entirely.

Or you can spend $2,000 on their titles/gacha then issue a chargeback, that'll cause them massive income losses from the chargeback fees and their payment processor might even drop them as a result.

Editor of the Steam restoration here. It's actually coming this time.
I just finished editing Yuuki's H-scenes and the patch was supposed to come this month when the Vita patch just suddenly dropped. Did not see that coming AT ALL.
After talking with the TL of the Vita patch, we decided to port his translation to the PC version. However the Vita version of the game uses a different engine compared to the Steam one, so this is gonna take a while.
The plan for now is to release a patch with the H-scenes sometime next month, and another restoring the censored lines + TLC of the whole game later.
And maybe start work on Noratoto 2 sometime after, but with our TL down for the time being nothing is certain.

Better Nekonyan than Sekai Project for Purple soft titles, even if it entertains the possibility that NN really is a SP shell company. To be fair, Purplesoft is no stranger to throwing out its titles to multiple companies. I'm not too surprised Nekonyan is dabbling in non-moege titles (like Hello Lady), though I doubt they'll stop being primarily moege any time soon. It's their main niche after all, and becoming more generalized like MG or JAST has its own share of risks. You might hit gold like the Rance series which keeps on selling years after release or a giant trainwreck like Luckydog1 where everything goes wrong.

Yeah, difference between SukiSuki and SakuSaku is that with the former, you can Ctrl + F certain localized nonsense and replace it with something else and get a mostly satisfactory script.
But with SakuSaku you would have to rewrite a lot of the translation entirely because it's just flawed all over. The severity of issues in that title are pretty extreme. Same with Hoshimemo.

MUSICUS! is a love letter to the struggling Japanese indie music scene (and the erogē industry, I suspect). In short, it covers life, the universe and everything—and actually succeeds in doing all that without getting lost on the way. THIS IS THE KIND OF FICTION THAT CAN CHANGE LIVES. Who knows, if I had read this twenty, even ten years ago, it might have changed mine. As it is, I am long since powerless to change my course, but at least I get to view the landscape that flies by differently now.
MUSICUS! feels less like a work of commercial fiction and more like a labour of love, someone’s magnum opus, something they needed to make no matter what, containing everything they needed to say, experiences they wanted to share, popular fiction only because that is their customary medium of expression and a marketable vehicle for it. It is fitting that it should be OVERDRIVE’s final work—what can there possibly be left to say, now?
Regardless of the possibility of a comeback at a later date, now, this, is over. It cannot be otherwise.
The irony of how the narrative surrounding the work’s creation defines my appreciation of it is not lost on me.

Now the real themes begin to reveal themselves, namely, the sanctity of the human mind. Are thoughts mere electronic impulses by neurons, free will an illusion for the convenience of the survival of an evolutionally created biological supercomputer? Or is consciousness something more, something that transcends the the sum of its parts and possess true meaning in this universe? And is a global consciousness, the combining of humanity to truly become one, truly understand, accept and welcome each other, the desired end goal? Or is the individual self, and the interactions with other unique individuals, more precious?
But the final theme is of course love. The driving force to sacrifice everything to save the world, for the sake of the people you love. Appreciation of how important those everyday conversations and fleeting moments are when they’re with the people you care about. And hope, hope that we will build a brighter future together.
