So, /jp/.

What would your ideal eroge be like?

>> No.3382083

Pic as far from related as it gets.
I don't even want to imagine retard moe sex scenes, which is why I'm never going to read One.

>> No.3382090

>>3382083
Trolls trolling trolls, etc.
So what would your ideal eroge be like, if you don't want awesome characters?

>> No.3382099

Something along the lines of Quartett! but heavier on text, more drinking, less sex, more piano, possibly set in the 17th-18th century, somewhere in Europe.

Alternatively, a Gunslinger Girl based VN. But I guess you said eroge and I have no intentions of molesting Henrietta.

>> No.3382095

Scenario writers: Urobuchi Gen, Looseboy
Music: ZIZZ, tiko-μ
Art: Chuuou Higashiguchi

Story: Anything Urobuchi and Looseboy come up with

>> No.3382115

Something like MuvLuv, although the double scenario progression (happy and peaceful school days vs brutal war torn reality) is already dull.
Some military fiction without too much bullshit, and a good serving of hard bricks.

>> No.3382119

Story must be set in Tenochtitlan Mexico, with the protagonist being an European merchant washed ashore. Love interests include a sickly priestess of Tezcatlipoca, a tsundere jaguar warrior and Cihuatlatoani ojousama.

I have the rough plot typed up already.

>> No.3382137

>>3382119
Damn, I would have never thought of this setting, though setting anything in Jaguar Warrior period just makes me think of Age of Empires 2.

>> No.3382138

It would start with a "High School" chapter and go all thr way to "Adulthood", and employ virtual reality to make me go inside the game, and would also give me the option of terminating my life after finishing the "Old Age ~After Story~" portion of the game with my lover.

>> No.3382147

Not like the one on OP pic that's for sure.

Isn't it sad you even lie to yourself

>> No.3382159

If we're talking about VNs, then same as my 'ideal fiction book'. It'd just be a good story. Likeable characters. Nice artwork. Science fiction theme.

Otherwise, full immersion simulated reality via direct neural interface.

Doesn't mean an eroge can't be made using elements from Clannad.

What do you think the "ero" in eroge means?

I'd just be satisfied with a VN that doesn't end at the "lovers" stage.
Let me see them get married, having sons, dealing with more mature problems, such as the husband being fired, your kid being kidpnapped by a pedo or you waifu betraying you, or the opposite.
I mean it's not like coming up with this shit it's hard, watch the TV or read a newspaper.
I'd pay gold to be an angry father screaming at the asshole trying to marry my princess and take her away, "YOU WON'T LAY A FINGER ON HER WHILE I STILL BREATHE".

Key art?
Really?

>> No.3382826

>>3382815
Clannad had nice art, it had the particularness of Kanon's/Air's, but less of the shittiness. I can see how it's not for everyone, though.

Also, LB!/Rewrite's art is objectively good, so there's nothing wrong with Key art.

Funny, I would've sworn that was FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE.

>>3382843
Regardless if it doesn't appeal to you, amount of detail and unique art style are things that cannot be denied.

>> No.3382853

If the ending can get to the settled-down-together part and maybe show what some of the other characters are doing I would be happy.

Most endings simply leave on an up note but I rather have a more fleshed out ending. I don't need 10 years in the future or anything but just something a little more concrete.

>> No.3382920

Set in the Napoleonic era, or equivalent, with a bit of alchemy/steampunk/steam mechas.
Political intrigue, war drama and espionage shenanigans ensue.

>detail
Putting more detail in something doesn't automatically make it better. Some people prefer more detail, some less. It's why today anime style drawings are more popular than the hyper realistic style popular in some periods of classical art. There's also the uncanny valley to contend with, where you can add detail and it becomes quite noticeably lower quality.

>unique art style
Someone could dislike the style. Being unique doesn't come close to making it objectively good.

Say it after me, it's entirely preference, there is no way for you to objectively say one piece of art is better than another. The closest thing you could do would be saying a drawing of something from real life is more accurate, which you could likely write a program to calculate based on a drawing and a picture of the same thing. The quality of drawings of fictional characters is entirely subjective.

>> No.3382937

you play as the little girl. all characters you can pursue with romantic intent are also the little girls, and all have white hair. men don't exist in that world.

>> No.3382941

>>3382843
I wasn't serious, but you know what I mean. I can't see anyone looking at LB! art in comparison with other eroge art and saying it's bad. Maybe that it's average or generic, but definitely not bad.

Realistically, yes, I agree with what he originally said, but it doesn't change the fact that claiming art is objectively good is fucking stupid and people need to have it jammed down their throat so they stop using words they don't understand.

Sure, no art is perfect by any standards.
But to use a bad analogy, while all people have different tastes in food, nobody should like burnt stuff or horse shit etc, except for deluded nutjobs.
And you can recognize when something is cooked well or is done by somebody who knows what the fuck he is doing instead of the first idiot that claimed to be an expert.
