If you do this, you arent a NEET. NEET simply means someone who isnt studying and doesnt have a job.
Its so sad how /jp/ tends to use the work ''NEET'' as they should use ''hikikomori''.

>NEETs
>Work

I highly doubt half the people who say they are NEET or hikki actually are. Some of them might be but most of them are probably 15-17yr olds who read Welcome to the NHK and thought it was cool or just really anti social people.

Being NEET and/or Hikkikomori is not something to be proud of.

Maybe on /a/, but there are a lot of NEETs on /jp/, myself included.

Fine then avoidant personality disorder.

Being hikki and NEET is not something to be proud of.

Did you see the video of the girl who wouldn't leave the house even when her parents started beating on her and throwing water on here? It was on youtube for awhile. Not sure if its still there.

Everyone is like HEHE LOOK AT ME I'M JUST LIKE SATO. I'M A HIKKI XD XD XD and don't know that this is a serious problem that people have. Its on the same level as people who diagnose themselves with ADD,Aspergers etc etc..

I do research based clinical trials from time to time so I don't have to get a job. Around 2-3k for 3 weeks of staying for a couple of days, taking drugs, eating free food, and playing games on my laptop. Since this student apartment costs $400 a month and me not actually being a student the money lasts me a long time since all utilities are paid. It's a pretty comfortable life without work.
